My journey started when I decided to become a Zumba instructor after taking part in Zumba classes for a number of years. I had always enjoyed fitness classes and trying new trends and saw the benefits of a fun and energetic dance workout and knew it was something that I could do and help people see that exercising can be fun and rewarding. So I decided to fulfil my dream and train to become a Zumba instructor. I qualified in October 2011 and then became a Zumbatomic instructor in 2012.

This opened new doors for me and since then the love for fitness has grown which has enabled me to see that anyone and everyone can enjoy exercise, you just have to find something you love and have faith in yourself. I love seeing people progress, get stronger, fitter and feel the benefits. I believe exercise is amazing for the mental health and can help with depression and anxiety. It can be daunting joining a new class or going to the gym and I understand this, so am happy to be there for anyone who needs help starting their fitness journey.
I am also very proud of the fact that I have completed 2 marathons, one of which was the London Marathon where I raised over £4,000 for the charity Bibic. I have realised that your body is capable of many things, but most importantly your health is at the forefront, moving daily, looking after your body and feeling good in your body and mind.

Along with the physical side, my other passion is nutrition as exercise and nutrition go hand in hand. My aim is to help people make a lifestyle change with regard to their food and enjoy it, not to be scared and bored of having to change their eating habits but find it new and exciting.
